Florida World Cheer Competition

From February 7th - February 11th, 2019, the Whitemouth Warriors Cheerleading team competed at the World School Cheerleading Championships at Disney World in Florida. Coached by Leah Hinrichs and Denee Dawson, the team of 11 Whitemouth students brought home 3rd place in the Junior Varsity Non-Tumbling Division. The team had worked very hard leading up to the event, practicing 3 days a week after school. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication, strength, and endurance to be a cheerleader and compete at the world level; and their coaches couldn't be more proud. The team also got to spend some time exploring the various Disney parks and watching other cheer teams from around the world compete. There were over 28,000 cheerleaders registered to compete in Florida over the weekend. It was an amazing experience that the Cheerleaders of Whitemouth school, and their coaches will never forget!
